Enrolling your child

We welcome all enrollment enquiries with open arms, any time of the year. It serves all if we can confirm attendance for the beginning of any year by September. For children looking to start their first year of school, Class 1, we do a school readiness test and bookings can be made by calling the office any day during school time, between 8:00 and 14:00.

For any other grade, we meet with you, the parents, and the child and set up a three day trial. This gives you, your child and the teacher a chance to measure a smooth integration into the small classes that we have. We have also recently discussed giving new parents a short orientation before enrolling any child, to familiarise new comers to the Waldorf philosophy and approach. It is vital that members understand that we are following the Waldorf methods as closely as can be done and that it requires both understanding and participation from teachers and family, both at school and at home.
